[First Bloom Daycares] Early Head Start Program FAQs
Dear {{first_name}},
Good day!
One of our services is the Early Head Start Program.
You might wonder how this program works.
Sharing with you here some of the Frequently Asked Questions provided by the Office of Head Start:
1. What is the EHS Program all about?
Early Head Start programs provide family-centered services for low-income families with very young children. These programs are designed to promote the development of the children and to enable their parents to fulfill their roles as parents and to move toward self-sufficiency.
2. What does FBDC do as part of this program?
Early Head Start programs promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers through safe and developmentally enriching caregiving and this is exactly what we focus on in our daycare. Helping children gain these skills through fun activities and a loving environment.
3. How can parents and kids benefit from this program?
At the end of the program, 3-year-old Early Head Start (EHS) children performed significantly better on a range of cognitive, language, and social and emotional development measures than a randomly assigned control group. Additionally, the parents of the 3-year-olds scored significantly higher than control group parents on many aspects of the home environment, parenting behavior, and progress toward self-sufficiency.
Indeed, EHS can be a great help for your child and we, at First Bloom Group Family Daycare, can be your partner in helping your child develop his/her skills in different aspects and grow into his/her best self.
For any questions or clarifications, don’t hesitate to message us through this email thread.
Thank you parents and stay safe.
With love,
Mrs. Mariela Eduardo and Team
