Founder & Director
MS. MARIELA
Ms. Mariela is the founder and director of First Bloom Group Family Daycare, a trusted Bronx childcare program serving infants, toddlers, and preschool children. With a lifelong passion for early childhood education and infant care, Ms. Mariela began her childcare journey at the age of 18 and has since built a nurturing home-based daycare that has served over 80 families across the Bronx and Manhattan.
Her mission is to provide a safe, loving, and educational daycare environment where every child can grow, explore, and develop confidence. Through a combination of play-based learning, structured routines, and individualized attention, she works to support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth.
Ms. Mariela and her team maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism. All staff are licensed through NYS OCFS and DOHMH, fingerprinted, and complete 10 hours of professional childcare training each year, exceeding New York State requirements.

Ms. Manuela
Assistant Teacher
Mrs. Manuela has been with First Bloom Group Family Daycare for over 10 years. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she holds a doctoral degree in pediatric care and brings valuable knowledge of child health and development to our program. Her attentive care helps support the well-being and healthy growth of the children in our Bronx daycare community.
Mrs. Elizabeth (Eli)
Assistant Teacher
Caring and dedicated teacher who enjoys supporting children’s learning and development each day. She helps create a warm, engaging environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn through play and exploration at First Bloom Group Family Daycare.
Mr. Felix
Assistant Teacher
Support the daily activities at First Bloom Group Family Daycare by assisting the team and helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment. He enjoys being part of a caring space where children can learn, play, and grow.
Staff Training & Safety
All staff members at First Bloom Group Family Daycare in the Bronx are fingerprinted, background checked through multiple agencies, and licensed by NYS OCFS and DOHMH. Our team completes 10 hours of professional childcare training each year, exceeding New York State requirements to ensure the highest level of safe and quality childcare.
