What is Drop-in Childcare?
Drop-In childcare is childcare needed on a regular or irregular basis which is charged daily and available on a “first come-first-serve” basis.
Drop-in childcare is a great option for parents who need childcare on a regular or irregular basis. It is usually less expensive than other types of childcare, and it is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. These types of childcare centers are typically open during normal business hours, so they can be a great option for parents who work traditional hours.
Scheduling:
- Drop in should be schedule at least 24 hours in advance.
- Rescheduling should be done at least 24hrs in advance
- Cancelations should be done at least 48hr in advance.
- An opening for drop-in childcare is not guaranteed and subject to availability.
- It is to the client’s advantage to make a drop-in reservation as far in advance as possible to reserve a space for a child.
- All reservations must be made via our Drop-In Calendar on our website.
- In the manner child cannot attend on a schedule day due to an illness or other emergency, parent must provide note to avoid charge for the day. A notification is also needed no later than 30min before open time for no fee to be applied.
Payment Terms
- An enrollment fee of $75 must be paid at enrollment.
- There is One Week Deposit Required* NEW 2021
- Once a reservation for drop-in childcare has been made you are required to adhere to the contract time slot.
- Payment for child care must be made at the time of reservation.
- The client is responsible for paying the full number of hours of drop-in care requested even if the client does not leave the child for the entire time or attends childcare unless an excuse with documentation is provided
- Your child is required to attend at once a week, if not a base charge of One Day will be made to your account.
- Drop-In Families will pay the base fee of the Drop-In Contract Fee for the Vacation Week.
- Annually Drop-In Rates will increase 8%.
- If we close and you have scheduled care, credit will be given towards the next time you schedule.
- Drop-In Families will receive Credit for Sick Days. If your child or you fall ill on a day schedule for care, a percentage of your rate will be given in credit to be used at a later time. A note must be provided.
